Gopal General Store

Gopal General Store is sitting at 9/346 in Mookandapalli, right in the Sipcot Housing Colony in Hosur. We are just a basic neighborhood shop where you can find the things you need for your house. We carry everything from rice and lentils to soap and small hardware items. The store is not very big, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have, and sometimes the aisles get a little crowded. Hosur is a busy place because of all the factories, and the housing colony is where a lot of the workers live. We stay open pretty late so that people coming home from their shifts can pick up what they need. We know almost everyone who walks through the door because they are our neighbors. We do not have any fancy scanners or high-tech systems. We just remember where everything is and keep track of things in our head or on a piece of paper. It is a simple, honest way to run a business. We do not do any advertising because everybody in the colony already knows we are here. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people want things at once, but we just take it one person at a time. It is a friendly place and we enjoy being the local shop for the people around here.
