Diamond Stone International School

If you go down Nallur Bagalur Road in Hosur, you will hit the Bagalur Circle, and that is where we are located. Diamond Stone International School sits right at No 1. The mornings around here are always a bit of a scramble. You have the school buses trying to turn into the gate while the regular traffic is zooming past toward the industrial parts of town. We have a lot of staff who have been here for years, and we all know the little quirks of the building, like which doors stick when it rains. The kids are always running around in the courtyard during recess, and sometimes a ball gets stuck on the roof. We just use a long pole to get it down. The classrooms have lots of drawings taped to the windows, which makes the place look a bit messy but in a good way. We do not have those polished corporate offices you see in big cities. Our desks are covered in notebooks and half-used pencils. Hosur weather is usually okay, but when the wind blows from the hills, it gets a bit chilly in the open hallways. We spend our time making sure the water coolers are full and the bells ring on time. It is a busy life, and there is always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a flickering light in the back hall.
