Adhiyamaan College Of Engineering

This college is located out in Dr. M. G. R. Nagar in Hosur. It’s quite a large space and we have been here for many years now. The campus has several buildings for different engineering departments. Most days start pretty early with students walking from the hostels or getting off the buses. The trees around the campus provide some shade, which is nice when the sun is out in the afternoons. We have laboratories that are filled with all sorts of equipment for the students to use. Some of it is older and some of it is newer, but it all gets used daily. The staff rooms are usually busy with people grading papers or talking about the next set of exams. It is a very practical environment here. We don’t go in for much decoration or fancy stuff. The focus is always on the classes and getting the work done. You can hear the sounds of machines from the workshops if you walk near the mechanical block. In the evenings, things quiet down a bit, but there are always a few students staying late to finish their projects in the computer labs. The canteen is the main spot where everyone gathers between lectures. It can get pretty crowded during the lunch hour. We just keep things running as best as we can day by day, making sure the schedule is followed and classes are taught.
