Adhavan Benefit Fund (Nidhi) Limited

Our office is at 112/50 Panakal Street in Kaveripattinam. Being in Krishnagiri, we see a lot of local faces coming through the door. Adhavan Benefit Fund (Nidhi) Limited is a Nidhi company, so we’re mainly here to help the community with small savings and loans. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of room for our files. We have a couple of benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It gets quite busy on market days because everyone is out and about. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the basic stuff that works for us. A lot of our day is spent writing things down in ledgers and talking to people about their accounts. We know most of our members by their first names. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we like it that way. No one here wears a suit; we just dress for the weather and the work. Sometimes we have to explain the rules a few times because the paperwork can be tricky, but we don't mind.
