You’ll find our place at D.No:23-7-27H, right at the end of Giri Street in Satyanarayanapuram. We are in Vijayawada, and the name on the door says Zuaricementltd. It is a busy little corner of the city. We handle a lot of the cement distribution for this area. The office is small and usually has a few people coming in and out at all hours. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. It’s just a place where we keep the records and talk to the customers who need supplies for their building projects. The street can be quite narrow, so things get a bit tight when the delivery trucks arrive. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the bags are stacked correctly so they don't fall over. Vijayawada can get very humid, so we are always wiped out by the end of the shift. We don't put on any airs about what we do. We are just here to supply cement to whoever needs it for their construction work. The paperwork is mostly done by hand in big ledgers. We’ve been at the end of Giri Street for a good while, and most of the locals know our faces by now. It’s just a normal job with a lot of dust and heavy lifting, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. We just open up in the morning and do what needs doing.
