Trupti Social Welfare Foundation

Trupti Social Welfare Foundation is based out of FNO.503 in the Shivani Enclave part of Krishna Apartments. Our official handle is H.NO.06, TOLL KH NO.-16/22. It’s a residential building, so the vibe is very neighborly. You’ll often hear kids playing in the hallways or the smell of someone’s cooking while we are trying to get through our emails. We aren't some big institution with a skyscraper. We just have this one flat where we keep our files and meet up. It’s a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. We’ve got some mismatched chairs and a table that wobbles if you lean on it too hard. We don't really care about the decor much. What matters is that we are here and doing something helpful. Most of the people working here are from the surrounding blocks. We decided to start this foundation because we wanted to see some changes in our own backyard. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we feel like we aren't moving fast enough, but we keep at it. We drink way too much coffee and spend a lot of time on the phone. We’re just a small group of folks trying to do our part without any fuss or big labels.
