Star Sri Nidhi Limited

If you are looking for us, we are over in Gudiwada, at house number 2-50. It’s right near the Post Office in Tenali Mandal, which is part of the Guntur district. Being so close to the post office is handy because everyone knows where that is. We run Star Sri Nidhi Limited from this small office. It is a very local operation. We don't have any of those big glass partitions or expensive carpets you see in city banks. It’s just us, some chairs, and a lot of paperwork. We spend our mornings opening the mail and checking the ledger books. People from the village come in throughout the day to talk about their money or to put a little bit aside for later. We know most of the families around here, so the conversations are usually quite friendly. We don't use any complicated language when we talk to our members. We just explain things as they are. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when a few people arrive at the same time, but we just pull up another chair. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who live in this part of Guntur. We try to keep everything tidy, though with all the paper we use, it can be a challenge. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
