Ss Mart

You can find Ss Mart at 6-18-182 in the Auto Nagar area of Nandigama. It’s a bit of an industrial part of town, so we get a lot of workers coming in during their breaks. We have been in this building for a few years. It’s not a very pretty place, just concrete walls and metal shutters. Inside, we have rows of shelves with all the usual groceries. We also keep a good stock of snacks and tea because of the nearby workshops. People are always coming in for a quick bite or something to drink. We try to keep the prices reasonable. It’s a busy spot, especially around noon and when the shifts end in the evening. My brother handles the morning shift and I take the rest of the day. We have a small television near the counter that we watch when there are no customers. The noise from the garages nearby is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a website or any of that. We just have our name on a board outside. We sell everything from light bulbs to lentils. It’s a practical shop for a practical neighborhood. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we have to wipe down the packets often. It’s just part of the job. We keep going because the community here relies on us for their daily needs.
