Sri Sai Ratna Eye Hospital

Sri Sai Ratna Eye Hospital is located at 10 - 88 Loya Vari Street, just off Eluru Road. It’s tucked away a little bit from the busiest part of the main road, which is actually quite nice because it’s a bit calmer for the patients. The building is a bit older, with some traditional features and a sturdy feel to it. Inside, we have the eye testing charts hanging on the walls—the ones with the different sized letters that everyone knows. The chairs in the waiting area are arranged in rows, and there’s a small window where people check in when they arrive. We have a lot of natural light coming in during the morning hours, which helps make the place feel a bit more open. The staff here has been together for a while, so we have a good rhythm of how things work, from cleaning the lenses to updating the files. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just a few framed certificates and maybe a calendar on the wall. The street outside, Loya Vari Street, is narrow, so parking can sometimes be a little bit of a puzzle for people, but they usually manage. It’s a plain, honest place where we focus on eyes and not much else. Most of our day is spent in the dim light of the exam rooms, then coming out to the brighter reception area to talk to the families.
