Sai Soda Hub

Sai Soda Hub is situated at 351 on Mylavaram Road. It’s a place where the air always smells a bit like lemon and ginger because of the syrups we mix. The main thing you hear when you walk in is the hiss of the carbonation machines. We have rows and rows of glass bottles that need to be cleaned and refilled every day. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t wear suits here; we wear old clothes that we don’t mind getting a bit wet or sticky. Mylavaram Road is a main path for many people, so we get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The shop is small and it can get quite crowded when we have a delivery coming in at the same time customers are waiting. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how the machines work. Sometimes the CO2 tanks run out at the worst possible time and we have to scramble to get a replacement. It’s all part of the daily grind. We aren't trying to be a famous brand. We just want to provide a decent drink to the people who stop by. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we can find every tool by touch. It’s a simple, honest business and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the people.
