Sai Pavan Genaral Stores

Our shop, Sai Pavan Genaral Stores, is located at 41-215 on Bundar Road in Kankipadu. Bundar Road is usually quite busy, so there is always something to look at out the front door. We have a small storefront that we have crammed with as many goods as possible. We sell the basic necessities like cooking oil, flour, and various soaps and detergents. We also keep a cooler for cold drinks, which is very popular when the weather gets hot in Kankipadu. I have been running this place for a long time and I have seen the road change quite a bit over the years. The shop itself hasn't changed much, though. We still have the same old counter and the wooden drawers for keeping the change. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. Sometimes the neighbors just lean against the doorframe and talk for a while without buying anything, and that is just fine with us. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket with fancy displays. We just want to provide the things people need every day at a price that makes sense. It is a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We open early every day of the week and we only close when it gets dark and the street quiets down.
