Sai Lakshmi Venkateswara Medical Distributors is over in Gudivada, specifically at 8/199/13 on Old Current Office Road. It’s in the Srirampuram neighborhood. People around here still call it the Old Current Office Road even though things have changed over the years. Our place is basically a big warehouse full of medical supplies. We spend most of our time checking expiry dates and loading up the three-wheelers for local deliveries. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a lot of decoration. We have some plastic chairs, a few big desks, and stacks of boxes everywhere you look. The humidity in Gudivada can be a bit much sometimes, so we tend to move a bit slower in the afternoons. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so we have a good rhythm going. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just focus on getting the right boxes to the right pharmacies. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit backed up, but we usually catch up by the end of the week. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we check the orders, we ship them out, and we go home. It’s nothing glamorous, but it’s an important part of how the local clinics get what they need. We’re just regular people doing a regular job in a corner of Srirampuram.
