Rc Toys

If you go down Ramgopal Street in Tarapet, you’ll find us at 7-11-57. It’s a narrow enough street and it can get quite crowded, especially when deliveries are arriving. Our place, Rc Toys, is usually full of boxes. We have all sorts of stuff for kids, from small plastic cars to bigger things that take up too much shelf space. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. The lighting isn’t the best in the back, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, parents come in looking for something to keep their kids quiet for an hour, or someone is looking for a birthday gift. We spend a lot of time just dusting things off and rearranging the shelves because things get moved around a lot. Tarapet is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside the door. We don’t really do fancy displays. We just put the toys out where people can see them. Sometimes we have to fix a box that got squashed during shipping. It’s just the two of us mostly, making sure things stay in order as much as possible. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the door open for a breeze. It's a simple shop and we've been in this spot for a good bit of time now. People know us as the place on the corner of the block.
