Our business is based on Sambhamurthi Road in the Hanumanpet area. We’re quite close to the Kesineni Travels office, which is a major landmark around here. We’ve been in the travel industry for a long time, mostly focusing on organizing cars and buses for people. It’s a busy street and our office is right in the middle of all the action. The interior is very plain, just some wooden desks and a few old chairs. We don’t see the point in spending much on decorations. We have a team of drivers who are very experienced and know the roads in and out of Vijayawada perfectly. Sometimes things get hectic when a lot of people want to travel at the same time, especially during the wedding season or holidays. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and making sure the vehicles are ready to go. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary. People in Hanumanpet know they can just walk in and ask for a vehicle. We don’t have a big corporate structure; it’s just a small group of us making sure the work gets done every day. We stay open late because travel doesn’t stop just because the sun goes down. It’s a gritty, real business and we’ve been doing it this way for as long as I can remember. The traffic on Sambhamurthi Road is always there, but we just work around it.
