Our shop is right along NH 65 on Bunder Road in Poranki. Since we are on the highway, we see a lot of people just passing through. It’s a loud spot with all the trucks and buses zooming by at all hours. We spend a lot of time packing up food items into boxes. The heat can be quite a lot during the summer months since the sun beats down on the road. We have a few fans going, but they mostly just move the warm air around. The shelves are mostly full, but sometimes we run out of things when a big group stops by. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy to get people's attention. Most people just know we are here because they’ve driven past a hundred times. We keep the floor swept, but the dust from the highway always finds its way back in. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to stay organized. We eat our lunch in the back room when things quiet down for a bit. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We’ve seen the road change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It’s just a regular part of the day for us at Poranki. There is always a lot to do before we can head home.
