Prabhakar Clinic

Over at D R /No- 5-170 in Kanchikacherla, that’s where Prabhakar Clinic is. It’s a small place on the Naidugaru side of things. We’ve been helping folks around here for quite some time. The clinic isn't very large, just a couple of rooms and a small desk where we keep the patient records. We see a lot of people with seasonal colds or minor injuries from working in the fields. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and everyone knows your name. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just some plastic chairs that have seen better days. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, but we get used to it. We open up early because the heat gets pretty bad by noon, and people like to get their business done before then. Our neighbors in Kanchikacherla often drop by just to say hello even if they aren't sick. We keep some basic medicines on the shelves and a stethoscope on the table. It’s a simple life running a clinic in this part of town. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth is how most people find us. Usually, it's just one or two of us working, so if there's a crowd, you might have to wait a little bit. We just keep going, day in and day out. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window, but we put a bucket there and carry on.
