Nishant Dubey Foundation

We are located in Flat 4504 at Krishna Height, right along Gwarigighat Road. Being up that high means we get a decent view of the area, though mostly we are just looking at the traffic moving below on the main road. The foundation is a small operation, really. It’s just us sitting around a couple of tables in the main room of the flat. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the glass windows, so we keep the curtains drawn most of the time to stay cool. You can hear the sounds of the road all day, which you eventually just get used to after a week or two. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the computers. It’s not a corporate setup at all; there are still some personal bits and pieces around the place since it is essentially a flat. Sometimes the lift takes forever to come up, so we end up waiting in the hallway chatting with the neighbors for a bit. We don’t have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. If you come by, you just knock on the door and one of us will eventually let you in. We usually have some snacks in the kitchen and the kettle is always on for tea or coffee. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which is fine by us. We just focus on the daily stuff.
