Navayuga Engineering Company Ltd. has a site office right near the bus stop in Koduru, not far from Machilipatnam. It is a practical location because it is easy for the workers to get to. The office is often just a temporary-looking structure or a small rented building where we keep the site plans and the safety gear. Since we are near the coast, the air always smells a bit like salt, and the wind can get pretty strong. We are usually busy with whatever project is happening in the area, whether it is roads or bigger structures. There is a lot of dust and noise because of the heavy machinery moving around. We are not really set up for visitors who want a polished presentation. If you come by, you will likely see people in hard hats and boots covered in dirt. We spend most of our time out on the field and only come into the office to check the schedules or have a quick meal. The bus stop nearby is always crowded with people traveling between the villages and the town. We have been working in this region for a while, so we are used to the heat and the way things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. We do not have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just have a job to do, and we try to get it finished.
