Mrr Private Iti College

People here in Nandigama know where we are. It’s a simple setup at Mrr Private Iti College. We spend a lot of time in the workshops with the tools and the machines. Most of the guys coming here are from the nearby villages. They want to learn how to fix things or work in factories. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast while everyone is busy with their practical work. The benches are a bit worn out from years of use, but they still work fine for what we need. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. That is just how it is in this part of Andhra Pradesh. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just show up, open the gates, and get to work on the syllabus. The teachers here have been around for a long time. They know their stuff and they don't use big words to explain how a motor works. Students bring their own lunch boxes and eat together under the trees if there is a breeze. It's a regular place for regular people trying to get a certificate. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the grease and metal scraps, it is a bit of a struggle. Still, it feels like a community where everyone knows each other’s names and we all get along just fine.
