Maytas

Working out of Ramapuram Colony in Poranki is different from the usual office grind. At Plot No-14, we’ve set up Maytas in a way that feels very local. It’s not some high-rise building; it’s just a solid place in a decent neighborhood. Vijayawada can be pretty intense with the heat, so we spend a lot of time making sure the air stays moving inside. We have a few desks pushed together and plenty of paper stacked up. It’s not the most organized look, but we know where everything is. Our neighbors are mostly families, so the street is usually calm during the day. We get our coffee from a shop just a short walk away. The routine is the same most weeks. We show up, check what needs to be done, and get to it. There aren’t any big bosses in suits running around here. We’re just regular people trying to handle our responsibilities. Sometimes we stay a bit late if there’s a lot to catch up on, but we usually try to head home in time for dinner. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just work here in this part of Andhra Pradesh and keep things as straightforward as possible. It’s a simple existence, and we’re okay with that. There's a lot to be said for a quiet day of work.
