Jay Ambey Foundation

We are located at Flat-101 in Sukirti Appartment. It’s right near Dharnidhar Villa and just behind the Krishna Nagar area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually pretty quiet around the flat. Jay Ambey Foundation is basically just us working out of this apartment. We’ve turned the main living area into an office with a few desks and some filing cabinets. It’s not what you’d call a professional office suite, but it works for us. The kitchen is where we make tea, and the balcony has a few plants that we try to keep alive. We don't have any employees in uniforms or big fancy meetings. Most of our work is just sitting at the computers or talking on the phone. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and you can hear them laughing, which is nice. We chose this spot because it’s easy to get to and it feels comfortable. There’s a lot of sunlight that comes in through the front window in the mornings. We don't have any big mission statements or complicated goals written on the walls. We just come in, check what needs to be done, and do it. It’s a very straightforward way of working. Being near Dharnidhar Villa makes it easy to give directions to people. We are just a small group of people trying to keep things running smoothly from Flat-101.
