Head Of The Dept

This is the office for the head of the department, and we are located out in Maddulaparva. It is a small post in the Vissanna Peta area of the Krishna district. I am the son of Venkateswarlu, and we have lived in this part of Andhra Pradesh for a very long time. The office itself is quite simple. It is not like those big city offices you see in movies. We just have a few rooms where we handle the department's work. It is usually quiet out here, which is nice for getting through the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out during the rainy season, but we have some lamps and just keep going. People from the village come by quite often to ask about things or just to say hello. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know the local area well. The commute to the main town takes a while, so we try to do as much as we can right here from the post. We have a lot of old records in wooden cabinets that we have to sort through every now and then. It is a lot of reading and writing by hand sometimes. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Just the address that everyone knows. It’s a humble spot but it serves the purpose for the Krishna district folks who need us.
