Ganesh Fancy & General Stores

This is Ganesh Fancy & General Stores. We are based in Poranki, specifically in Sitapuram Colony at house number 11-117. It started out as a small idea to have a place where neighbors could pick up things they needed without traveling too far. We keep a bit of everything here. It’s a mix of fancy items and regular stuff people use every day. The shelves are usually pretty crowded because we try to fit a lot in a small space. It can be a bit messy sometimes when a new shipment comes in and we haven't had time to put everything away. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. People from the colony just walk over. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out behind the counter. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck to show up. It's not a supermarket or anything grand. It's just a local shop. The kids come in for snacks after school and the parents come by for household bits. We spend a lot of time organizing and cleaning the glass cases. It’s steady work. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here. If you're walking through Sitapuram Colony, you'll see our sign. We try to stay open late enough for folks coming home from work.
