We’re over at Shop Number 29 in the Mahalaxmi Towers building. It’s on Rajagopala Chary Street in Governerpet. A good way to find us is to look for the Airtel office, as we’re right beside it. The shop is quite modest. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we look up holiday spots on the computer. We don’t do anything too complicated, mostly just helping families and individuals find a nice place to stay or a way to get to their destination. Governerpet is a hectic place to work, but being in the tower gives us a bit of a break from the street noise. We’ve been here for years, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our customers are mostly local residents who prefer talking to a real person rather than booking everything online by themselves. We keep a few brochures on the table, but most people just tell us what they want and we try to make it happen. It’s a practical business. We don’t promise anything impossible; we just look for the best options available at the time. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to ask people to wait a bit, but they usually don’t mind. It’s a friendly atmosphere and we like keeping things that way for everyone who walks in. We are usually here until late evening finishing up the day's paperwork.
