We run a chit fund, which is just a way for the local people here to save up and get a bit of money when they need it for a wedding or a new roof. The office is nothing special, just a few rooms where we keep our books and talk to customers. We don’t have any fancy posters or slick marketing stuff on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and maybe a photo or two. The floor is made of old stone, and it stays nice and cool even when it’s boiling outside.
