Coastline Seafoods Private Limited

Coastline Seafoods Private Limited is at No. 9-37 in Penamaluri. We are right beside the Co-Operative Bank. Being in the Krishna District is helpful because we aren't too far from the water. We deal with seafood, mainly fish and prawns. It’s a messy and cold job. We have several big chest freezers that hum all night long. The floor is almost always wet. We wear rubber boots all day. We start our work long before the sun comes up. That is when the fresh catch arrives on the trucks. We have to sort through everything and get it cleaned and packed. There are about six of us working here. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up. Usually, our hands are wet or covered in fish scales. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules. We just know how to handle seafood. Sometimes the supply from the boats is low and we don't have much to do. Other times we are buried in work. The bank next door is the easiest way to find us. We don't have a big sign out front. Most of our customers are other businesses that have known us for years. It’s a tough trade, but it pays the bills. We don't spend money on advertising. We just let the product speak for itself.
