Cdk. Memorial Hospital

Cdk. Memorial Hospital is situated in Pedda Autapalli, which is part of the Unguturu Mandal in Krishna District. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address but locals just call it the hospital. We are surrounded by a lot of green space and fields. It’s quieter than being in the middle of a big city. The hospital has been a fixture in Pedda Autapalli for a long time. People come here from all over the Unguturu Mandal. We have a simple setup with a few wards and an out-patient area. The floors are tiled and we mop them several times a day to keep the dust down. It isn't a high-rise building with glass elevators. It’s just a solid place where you can get help. The staff lives in the nearby villages so they don't have far to travel. We often see neighbors or relatives coming in for medicine. We don't have any big slogans or missions written on the walls. We just come in, put on our uniforms, and start the day. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting room and people stand outside in the shade. It’s just how it is during the peak hours. We try to be helpful and listen to what people are telling us about their aches and pains. Krishna District is a good place to live and we are glad to be working here.
