Aap Se Hum Foundation

We’ve been running the Aap Se Hum Foundation out of our space in Shri Krishna Lok for a while now. You can find us on the 6th floor of Block 6, right there at Plot No R 4 in Sec D. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, but we like it up here because it stays relatively quiet compared to the street noise outside. Most days, we’re just busy dealing with the daily tasks that come with keeping a foundation going. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes the paperwork piles up higher than we’d like, but that’s just how it goes when you’re trying to do something meaningful in the community. Our neighbors in the building are mostly used to us by now. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big reception desk, just some desks and a lot of commitment to the work. We started this because we saw things that needed doing around here. It’s mostly just a handful of us making sure everything stays on track. People sometimes get confused about where we are exactly, but once you find Block 6, it’s easy enough. We don't try to make it look like something it's not. It's just a workspace where we try to help out as much as possible. Sometimes the tea runs out and the printer jams, but we just keep at it day after day. It's home for us.
