Volvic Supermarket Llp

Running Volvic Supermarket Llp here in Perumanna is a lot of work but it keeps us busy. We are located at Thevar Thazham Potta in Kozhikode, which is a decent area with plenty of folks moving around. Most days start early with the milk delivery and then we spend a good chunk of time just getting things straight on the shelves. It’s not always perfect, sometimes the boxes pile up in the back more than we’d like, but we get through it. We stock the usual things like pulses, oils, and snacks. Being in Kerala, everyone has their specific brands they like, so we try to keep those in. The building is simple and we don’t spend much on decorations because it’s a grocery store, not a palace. People from around Perumanna know us by now. We recognize most of the faces that come through the door. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to mess with the generator, which is always a bit of a pain. My cousin helps me out with the accounts and we have two other local boys who handle the counter. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just open the shop, sell what people want, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a straightforward life and the supermarket is our main focus every single day for the community.
