We have been here at the Serenity Complex on the first floor for a while now. Most people know the spot because it is right on the Government Engineering College Road near West Hill. If you are coming down Kannur Road, it is pretty easy to find us. Dealing with eyes is what we do every day. We handle various vision needs for people who stop by. Sometimes it gets busy, especially in the afternoons when students from the college walk past our windows. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we can get the work done properly. We spend most of our time looking through lenses and making sure frames fit right. It is a local operation, so we know many of our regulars by name. People come in when they realize they are squinting at their screens or when their old glasses finally give out. We keep things straightforward. No one wants a complicated process when they just need to see better. Our desks are usually covered in paperwork and tools for adjustments. It stays a bit noisy with the traffic from West Hill, but that is just how it is around here. Showing up, opening the doors, and helping whoever walks in with their eyesight questions is our routine. It’s a job we take seriously even if the office feels a bit lived-in. There are a few chairs for waiting, but they aren't the most comfortable. It’s just a place to sit for a few minutes.
