Thangals Store

Thangals Store is a small neighborhood shop at 22, S M Street in Palayam. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it works for what we need. S M Street is a narrow and crowded place, so there is always the sound of motorbikes and people talking right outside our front door. Inside, the shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling with all sorts of items. We try to keep it organized, but when we get a big delivery, there are boxes everywhere for a few hours. We don't have a fancy website or any marketing. People in Palayam just know that we are here at number 22 if they need something. We know most of our customers by their names because they live just a few houses away. Our counter is worn down from years of people leaning on it while they wait for their change. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, and we just give it a tap to keep it going. It is a simple life of opening up early, sweeping the floor, and helping whoever walks in. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure we have what the neighbors are looking for. It is a small, busy, and slightly messy place that feels like home.
