Down in Zainas, near the Padiripalli area, we run Tazza Ice. It is situated right by the Post Chobba, which is where most people gather to get their mail and talk. We aren't in a big city, so things move a bit slower around here. The shop is just a single room with a couple of large chest freezers. We get a lot of farmers and laborers coming in when they finish their work in the fields. The dust settles on everything, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s a simple setup we have. We don't have any neon signs or fancy displays. Just the name Tazza Ice on a wooden board outside. The electricity can be a bit tricky in this part of the region, so we have to be careful with the stock. My younger brother helps out when he is not at his other job. We spend our days chatting with the locals who stop by. It’s a good community and everyone knows each other’s business. Sometimes the supply truck is late because of the roads, and we have to wait around. We just sit on the front step and watch the birds. It isn't a stressful job most of the time. We just keep the ice cold and wait for the next customer to walk through the door from the post office. It's just a small spot in a quiet village.
