Taj Network Inc

The shop is on R C Road in Calicut. It is a busy street, and you can usually smell the sea if the wind is blowing the right way. Our office is where we handle all the networking stuff for the local area. It is full of routers, servers, and miles of yellow and blue cables. The walls are a bit stained from the humidity, which is just part of living in Calicut. We do not have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss us. We have a few technicians who are always out on their scooters fixing connections for people. Back here at the office, we just monitor the signals and answer the phones. It is not a corporate environment at all. We wear sandals and light shirts because it is always humid. We have a small kettle for making coffee, and there is usually a bag of local snacks on the table. Sometimes we stay late when a server goes down, but mostly we try to wrap up by seven. It is a small team, so we all know each other’s business. We do not use big words or talk about the future of the internet. We just make sure the people on our network can get online without too much trouble. It is a practical job in a nice part of town. R C Road has its charms, even with all the traffic and the noise from the nearby shops.
