Studio Sahasrara (Opc) Private Limited is located in Vengery, which is a part of Kozhikode that we really like. We are set up at John E J Marakkattuva’s place. It’s a more personal way of running a business than being in a big cold office block. The address is easy to find if you know the Vengery post office area. We are just a small outfit, an OPC, so it’s mostly just a couple of us handling everything. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby with magazines. You just walk in and we are right there working. It’s a very direct way to do business. We’ve got our computers set up and a few chairs for when we need to sit and think. Kozhikode is a great place to be because of the food and the people, and Vengery gives us a bit of peace away from the main city traffic. We don't have any big missions or grand plans. We just want to do our work well and keep things going. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of life here. We keep our overheads low and our focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We are just regular people in Kerala trying to build something small and sustainable. We just take it day by day.
