Spandrel Engineers And Architects is located over at 32, Ulliyeri. We are right near the M M G Hospital, which is the main landmark around here for most people. It’s a decent area to work in. Our office is a bit different from what you might expect from a typical architecture place. We have drawings and blueprints spread out over every available surface. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly, but we know where every single piece of paper is. We spend a lot of time hunched over desks or out visiting various building sites. We aren't the type of people to wear suits and ties every day. Usually, it’s just jeans and a shirt that has probably seen better days. We’ve been in Ulliyeri for a while and have seen a lot of buildings go up around us since we started. We like being near the hospital because there’s always people around and the area feels alive. Sometimes we get so busy with a design that we forget to eat lunch until it's nearly evening. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just try to make sure the walls are straight and the roofs don't leak when it rains. It’s practical work at the end of the day. If you come by, you’ll probably hear us debating about a structural detail or looking for a lost pencil. We are just a group of people who enjoy building things.
