Sona Products

Sona Products is based in Kadavana Village, which is in the Mallapuram district. Our workplace is right near the local post office, so it's a central spot for the village. Most of us working here grew up just a few streets away. We handle local produce and turn them into finished goods that go out to the shops. It’s a lot of manual labor, mostly sitting together and sorting through the materials. We have some small machines for the grinding part, but they can be a bit loud. The village is usually quiet, so you can hear us working from a distance. We don't have any big corporate structure or a manager in a suit. We just talk about what needs doing over tea in the morning and then we get to it. My brother helps with the paperwork, though he’d rather be out in the fields. We just try to do an honest day's work. We don't have any promotional materials or big signs. People around here know us and they know what we do. The road leading to our village isn't the best, so we often have to help the truck drivers navigate the ruts. It’s a simple, rural life and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent business and keep things moving. It’s a lot of work but it’s satisfying.
