Silkstreet Food Llp is right here on Silk Street, very close to the Calicut Beach. We are in the Beach Complex, unit Viii/282-G. It’s a busy area, especially when the sun starts to go down and everyone comes to the water. We aren’t a big corporation or anything like that. Just a group of us working in the kitchen and handling the orders. The air always smells like salt from the ocean. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the hallways of the complex, but that’s just how it is in Calicut. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big marketing plan. We just put out the food every day. If you’re walking along the beach, you might see our sign. It’s not very big. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The building is older, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the sand that people drift in on their shoes. It’s a never-ending job. We don’t spend much on advertising. Mostly, people just find us because they’re hungry and they’re already at the beach. We use simple ingredients. Nothing too complicated. Our days are long, but we like being near the sea. It’s a good place to work even when it gets really humid. We just keep the fans running and stay busy. That's about it for us and how we do things here on the coast.
