Shiba Hospital

Shiba Hospital is located right on Waynad Road Waynad Road. It’s a long stretch of road that connects different parts of the region, so there is a lot of through-traffic with trucks and buses passing by at all hours. Because we are on the main Waynad Road, the hospital is easy to spot, though it doesn't have any flashy lights or big billboards. It’s a solid-looking building that sits back a little from the pavement. Inside, the atmosphere is usually a bit quiet unless there’s a big group of people coming in at once. The floors are made of simple stone tiles, and the walls are painted in a light shade that has faded over the years. We have basic benches for people to sit on while they wait to be seen by the doctor. There isn't a lot of decoration on the walls, just the necessary signs pointing towards different departments like the lab or the wards. Outside, you can sometimes see the hills or trees in the distance, depending on which way the window faces. The air here feels a bit different than in the middle of a big city because of the open road and the surrounding landscape. It’s a very straightforward medical facility where things happen at a steady pace. Most of the staff has been working on Waynad Road for quite a while, so they are used to the rhythm of the place and the people who pass through.
