Shiba Hospital

Shiba Hospital is situated on Wayanad Road, right near the Malayala Manorama office. If you know the area, you know the traffic can be a bit much during the day. We have a modest building here where we see patients from morning until evening. The staff is mostly local people who have been with us for years. It’s a straightforward place with a waiting area that gets a bit crowded on Mondays. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just handle the medical work as it comes. The rooms are clean but simple. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch over to the backup, which is just part of life here. You’ll find the doctors drinking coffee in the small breakroom when they have a spare minute. It feels more like a community spot than a big institution. People stop by because they know where we are. We have the usual beds and medical tools you’d expect. Nothing is fancy, just a hospital trying to keep up with the town's needs. We spend most of our time looking at charts and talking to families. It’s a lot of walking back and forth in the corridors. We are just here on the main road, easy to spot when you pass the newspaper building. It stays pretty busy, but we do our best to keep things moving along for everyone.
