Our place, Sherin Oil Industries Private Limited, is tucked away in Kadamgod, specifically over by the Kunnath Mahal Jamaath Committee area. It’s out in Varam, and if you’re looking for us, we’re at the address marked CP I 175. The work we do involves a lot of oil, so things can get a bit slippery around the machines if we aren't careful. It’s a loud environment most of the time because the equipment is always running, humming away in the background while we talk. We don’t have a big corporate office or a lobby with a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find one of us covered in a bit of grease or just busy moving containers from one side of the floor to the other. The air always has that heavy, warm smell of pressed oil which you get used to after about ten minutes. Sometimes the lorries get stuck on the narrow road leading up to the gate, and we all have to go out and help the driver navigate the turn. It’s just part of the day here. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while, and the neighbors know us well enough. We don't spend much time on fancy paperwork unless we absolutely have to. Most of our time is spent just making sure the production is moving and the containers are ready for the morning pickup. It's a plain, honest way to make a living in this part of Varam. We just try to keep things simple and get the work done before sunset.
