Shalimar Plastimers

Being located in Nallalam means we deal with a lot of the local traffic and the specific humidity you get in this part of the country. At Shalimar Plastimers, the days usually start early before it gets too hot to move around the floor. Our place isn't something you'd see in a magazine; it’s a working space filled with materials and the sound of things being moved around. We focus on the practical side of plastics, making sure everything is stored right and ready for whoever needs it. There’s always a bit of noise from the nearby road and the sound of trucks backing in to load up. The staff has been with us for a good while, so we all know the routine by heart now. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the machines are doing what they are supposed to do. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We don’t go for anything flashy here. We just have our desks, the warehouse area, and a small space to take tea breaks. Nallalam is a decent place to be based, even if the rain sometimes makes deliveries a bit of a headache. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a straightforward business and we try to keep it that way for everyone involved. I usually spend the last hour of the day checking the locks and making sure the inventory lists match up with what's actually on the shelves.
