Santhi Hospital

So this is the Santhi Hospital in Omassery. It’s funny how the address just says Omassery Omassery, but that’s really all you need to know if you live around here. It’s a small place, not like the big cities where every street has a different name and things are complicated. The hospital is a central part of the village life in a way. You see the same faces all the time. The building is white and has a few floors to it. There’s a bit of a climb if you’re going to the top offices, but we have the stairs and everyone is used to it. Outside, it’s mostly green with trees, which is a nice change from the dusty city roads. I like to stand by the door sometimes and just watch the rain when it comes down hard during the monsoon. The hospital itself is pretty standard inside. We have the usual beds and that specific smell of cleaning supplies that you find in every medical place. It’s not loud like the hospitals you see near the main highways. It’s mostly just the sound of people talking in the halls or the occasional car passing by the front. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone fancy like that. We just have the staff who live nearby and the local people who come to see us when they aren't feeling well. It feels more like a community spot than a big business. If you ask anyone in Omassery where we are, they’ll just point you down the road.
