Our little office is located in Kokkallur, which is near Balussery. The address we use is Bp 11/323G. It’s a quiet enough area, which is good for when we have to focus on all the numbers and paperwork that come with running a Nidhi company. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we're just a small team of local folks. Most days you’ll find us sitting at our desks, talking to people from the village who come in to talk about their savings or loans. We try to keep things very relaxed here. There’s no need for any formality when you’re dealing with neighbors. The office itself is just a simple room with the basic stuff we need to stay organized. Balussery is a nice place, and Kokkallur has a good community feel to it. We don't spend time on fancy brochures or advertisements because word of mouth works best around here. If someone needs help understanding a form, we just sit down and go through it with them until it makes sense. It’s practical work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out and chat. That’s just life in a small town. We’ve been here for a while now and we know the names of most people who walk through the door. It makes the work feel more like helping out than just doing a job.
