Pharma

Our business, simply called Pharma, is situated right near Baby Memorial Hospital. Being so close to a major hospital means we see a lot of different people coming and going at all hours. There is a certain weight to working in this area because you know that the supplies we handle are actually needed for people's health. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look like a big international company. Instead, our focus is on the shelves and making sure we have what is required in stock. The office itself is functional with a few old chairs for visitors and a big desk where we manage the paperwork. It gets quite busy when the doctors finish their shifts and the pharmacy traffic picks up nearby. We often hear the sirens from the ambulances, which reminds us why it is important to stay organized and quick with our work. Our staff is small, but we have all been here long enough to know the inventory by heart. We don’t use any complicated systems, just some good old-fashioned record-keeping and a lot of manual labor moving boxes. It is a straightforward operation, and we like being right there in the middle of the medical district where the action is. Sometimes we stay late just to make sure the next day's deliveries are sorted and ready to go.
