Natural Coffee Shop

You can find us in the Prashob building, which is very close to the railway station here in Calicut. Being near the Kairali side of the tracks means we see a lot of different people every single day. Most of them are travelers who have just stepped off a train and are looking for something to wake them up. The shop is small and can get quite dusty because of all the people coming in from the station. We don't have much room for fancy stuff, so we just focus on keeping the coffee hot and the service quick. The fans on the ceiling hum all day long to keep the air moving, especially when the Calicut heat gets bad in the summer. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait for their platform number to be called. The walls have a few old calendars on them and the counter is worn down from years of use. It is a very practical place. We don't try to be anything we are not. Sometimes we run out of milk or sugar towards the end of a busy day, and we have to run out to the local market to get more. It is just a regular shop run by regular people. If you are passing through the station and need a break from the crowd, we are right there in the Prashob building waiting for the next train crowd.
