Mohan Driving School

We are based out of Erekulam in Kakkodi, which is part of the Kozhikode area. Mohan Driving School is basically just us and a few cars spending our days out on the roads with people who are often nervous about getting behind the wheel for the first time. It's a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and keeping a foot near the extra brake pedal just in case. We see all kinds of people, from young kids getting their first license to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. Kakkodi has some tricky turns and narrow spots, so it’s a good place to practice. We don't make a big fuss about it. We just sit there, show them how the clutch works, and try to keep them calm when they stall in traffic. The office is a simple spot where we handle the paperwork and the lesson schedules. It gets busy, especially on weekends when everyone has free time to practice. We’ve been through a lot of tires and oil changes over the years. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in Kozhikode. Most people find us through word of mouth around Erekulam. We aren't interested in being the biggest school around, we just want to make sure the people we teach don't run into anything. It’s practical work and we enjoy the conversations we have while driving around the neighborhood. We just take it slow and make sure everyone feels safe before they go for their test.
