Mini Pharma

We have a small pharmacy here in Jawahar Nagar. It's just a simple shop where we keep medicines and other health stuff people ask for. The space is a bit tight with all the shelves, but we manage to fit everything in. Sometimes the delivery arrives late and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow, which is just how it goes. Most of the folks who come in live right around the corner, so we know them by name. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything. Just a regular counter and some old chairs if you have to wait. We open up in the morning and stay until late evening. Dealing with the paperwork for all the prescriptions takes up a lot of our time. We try to keep the place tidy, but when it gets busy, boxes tend to pile up near the back. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it works fine for keeping the heat away. We’ve been at this spot in Jawahar Nagar for years now. It’s a quiet enough business, just helping people get what they need for their health. We don't do much advertising; people just know we're here. If the power goes out, we use a torch to find things on the shelves. It’s a practical little pharmacy, nothing more. We sit on a stool when we get a break.
