3G Mobile World

3G Mobile World is situated on the 4th floor of the Asfa Building, which is part of the Maniyattukudi area on Mavoor Road. We are right near Baby Memorial Hospital, so it’s a landmark most people in the city recognize. Being on the fourth floor means we aren't exactly a shop you just stumble into from the street. Most people come up here specifically because they need something fixed or they are looking for a particular phone. It’s a small space, and we usually have phones and tools scattered across the workbenches. We deal with all kinds of mobile issues, from cracked screens to batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. It can get a bit crowded when three or four people are waiting for their repairs at the same time. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge with coffee. It’s just a few chairs and the sound of us working. We’ve been here for a bit, and we see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. Technology changes fast, so we’re always seeing new models, but the basic problems stay the same. We don't do big sales pitches. If a phone can be fixed, we tell you. If it’s not worth it, we tell you that too. We just try to be straightforward with everyone who makes the trip up to the fourth floor to see us.
