Maruti Clinic

Our little place, Maruti Clinic, is located up in Kalpetta North. We are in the Wayanad district of Kerala, which is a really green and nice part of the world to live in. The address is 673122 if you are looking for the mail. It is a simple setup we have here. We open up in the morning and wait for the local folks to come in. Most people who live around Kalpetta North know where we are because it is a small enough community. The rain here can be quite heavy during the monsoon, and we sometimes have to keep the door shut tight to keep the damp out. Inside, it is just the basic stuff you need for a clinic. Nothing too polished or like those big city hospitals you see on television. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they do the job for now. We spend most of our time talking to neighbors and helping out whoever walks through the door. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for when the market nearby gets busy. We just try to keep things running smoothly and stay on top of the daily tasks. It feels good to be a part of the local scenery here in Wayanad. We have a small desk for our paperwork and an old clock that ticks a bit too loud when it is quiet.
