Our office is over in Pullavoor, near the REC PO in Kozhikode. The address is 23/737, Akkamparambath. Dealing with sand means there is always a layer of it on the floor of the office no matter how much we sweep. It’s just part of the environment here. We have been at this location for some time. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except for when the trucks are moving. We are a small team and we pretty much do everything ourselves. If the phone rings, one of us picks it up. If a truck needs loading, we’re out there. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment in the office. Just a couple of desks and some chairs that have seen better days. The work is physical and keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s a working yard. We know the local builders and they know us. Most of the people around here are just trying to get their own houses built or fixed up. We just supply what they need. It’s an honest way to make a living and we like being part of the Kozhikode community. There’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a full truck leave the yard. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day. There isn't much more to it than that.
